Committee Information
All families of the preschool are required to either serve on our Board or one of our committees.  The following are descriptions of each committee and any information for upcoming responsibilities.  Sign up for the committees is at the Fall Parents' Meeting. 

 
Graduation Committee:
Prepare for and work at the 4-year old graduation ceremony.  This event is held during the normal class time.  If you are the parent of a child in a 4 year old class, you will not be scheduled to work during your child's class time.  This committee provides refreshments and attends to any special activity planned for the children.
Fundraiser Committee:
Help sort and distribute orders to Preschool families. This is normally done in the evening.  The Preschool Board votes on fundraising activities.   
VIP Night:
Assist in the classroom during 1 evening VIP Night.  This event is normally scheduled for an evening in March.  The teachers plan a special snack for this event.  The committee supllies the food as requested by the teacher.  The committee is responsible for taking pictures of the student with their VIP.  The camera and supplies are provided.  Pictures should be sent home with the student that evening. 
Playdough Committee:
You will be scheduled to make playdough that is used in the classroom throughout the year.  Playdough is replaced approximately every 3 weeks.  The recipe will be provided. 
Arts & Crafts Committee:
Assist the teachers with cutting, tracing, etc. for projects in the classroom.  The teachers will send supplies and instructions home with your child.  There are separate committees for the 3 and 4 year old programs.  Sign up according the program your child is enrolled in. 
Preschool Open House & Enrollment Night:
This event is usually scheduled for an evening in February or March.  The committee  will assist with set-up and clean-up.  This committee provides refreshments.  A craft activity that is appropriate for children between the ages of 2-5 is made available for the children attending the open house.
