The Grand Ledge Cooperative Preschool participates in Meijer Community Rewards. This program was developed to meet the growing need for schools and religious groups to raise funds without product or gift certificate sales and without a lot of administrative work. After an organization enrolls, their supporters apply for and receive their Meijer Card. When this card is scanned at the checkout register, a percentage of the purchase totals are rewarded to their organization of choice.

Meijer Community Rewards are based on payment method:
- Purchases paid with a linked Meijer Credit Card earn 1%
- Purchases paid with Cash, PIN - debit card or a swiped Meijer rewards card SM earn 0.5%
Before your rewards are computed, the current Meijer Giving Share is applied and this determines your net purchases. Meijer Giving Share is the percentage of a customer's purchase that is eligable for Meijer Community Rewards.
The Giving Share may change periodically based on the overall profitability of the company but will maintain our overall community giving standard of no less than 6% of net profits.
Rewards Examples
Each month Sally and Bill each spend about $635 at Meijer. Sally uses her Meijer Credit Card while Bill uses cash or PIN-debit card with his swiped Meijer 1 CardSM to earn Meijer Comminuty Rewards.
